This introductory four day training course gives you a thorough grasp of the LNG industry; covering the evolution of LNG, the entire value chain from upstream to markets, supply and demand, contracts and pricing.

Delivered by Gas Strategies’ industry experts through a combination of highly interactive lectures, group discussions, exercises and e-learning, the course is designed to engage with and challenge your understanding of key themes including shipping and storage, structuring an LNG project and contractual drafting.

Are meals provided?

Tea, coffee, refreshments and pastries will be available during the morning, mid-morning and mid-afternoon breaks. Lunches will also be provided at the venue throughout the duration of the course, please let us know as soon as possible if you have any particular dietary restrictions. Breakfasts and evening meals are not included, unless otherwise stated.

What language is the course delivered in?

All our courses are conducted in English and require a good level of business English.

Who are the course leaders?

Our course leaders combine their active roles consulting within the gas and LNG industry with their training activities.  They are globally active in advising major clients through Gas Strategies and bring exceptional experience and insight into industry.

What is included in the course fee?

Your fee includes a comprehensive set of documentation in both printed and electronic format. Lunch and refreshments are also provided throughout the duration of the course.

Hotel accommodation and travel costs are not included in the registration fee, however, where possible we negotiate preferential rates with the venue.


Do I need to book my own accommodation?

Yes – upon confirmation of your booking you will receive joining instructions that will provide details of local hotels and accommodation.

Do I need to make my own travel arrangements?

Yes – when we confirm your booking you will receive joining instructions that detail the nearest airport and how to get to the hotel.  We can advise on transport but delegates are responsible for their own travel arrangements.

Can you help arrange my visa?

We are pleased to assist with visa applications and can provide a Letter of Invitation once payment of the course has been received.

It is the responsibility of each delegate to ensure they meet visa requirements of the course location and that they allow enough time to obtain the required documentation.

What is the latest I can book?

Due to the popularity of our courses, they very often get fully booked many weeks in advance. We recommend you book as early as possible.


Do you accept credit card payments?

All payments must be paid through bank transfers. We do not accept Credit or Debit card payments.

How can I pay?

We accept payments by bank transfer. Upon registration you will be sent an invoice detailing the charges.

When do I have to pay by?

Full payment of the course fee must be received at least 10 working days prior to the start of the course. If the payment is not received prior to the course, the delegate may be refused entry.


What happens if I need to cancel?

We recommend you nominate a colleague in your place to avoid any cancellation fees. We can accept name changes at any time prior to the course. Should you not nominate a replacement our cancellation fees are as follows:

  • If you cancel more than a month prior to the course we charge a 50% cancellation fee
  • If you cancel less than a month prior to the course we charge a 90% cancellation fee
