Demand for offshore liquefaction and regasification off the African coast exists, but formalising sales, service and supply contracts to underpin such projects remains a challenge, speakers said at the Informa FLNG Europe conference in London on Wednesday.
Nearly 20 African nations are believed to be actively considering FLNG or FSRU projects, according to Standard Bank director for Southern Africa, Paul Eardley-Taylor.
