Phase two of BP’s West Nile Delta (WND) gas project offshore Egypt is to follow the example set by phase one and come online several months earlier than scheduled, the country’s petroleum ministry said this week.
The second phase is now expected onstream at the end of 2018, having previously been slated for some time during 2019. The early ramp-up is expected to accelerate the collapse of Egyptian LNG demand.
