Wintershall reported record production of oil and gas in annual results published on Wednesday, despite facing interruptions and security issues in Libya and a lack of progress in Iran due to fears of renewed US sanctions.
The German company said it produced 165 million barrels of oil equivalent in 2016, primarily from sites in Norway and the Achimgaz joint venture in Russia.
