Major players in the container shipping and energy sectors have used their wallets to vote for LNG. In November 2017, leading freight firm CMA CGM placed an order for nine container vessels, larger than any currently in existence, and plans to run them on LNG supplied by Total, which earlier this month co-chartered the world’s biggest LNG bunker vessel to carry out the job.
