Canada will likely remain a net exporter for the next two decades, despite US output continuing to rise, according to a forecast released this week by the Canadian Energy Research Institute (CERI).
The CERI Gas Market Review estimated that domestic production would likely reach 21 Bcf/day (217.1 Bcm/year) by 2037 – a 33% gain over rates reported by BP for 2015.
