BP has “drawn a line” under its liability for the Deepwater Horizon disaster, CEO Bob Dudley said at the company’s latest quarterly results on Tuesday, estimating cumulative pre-tax charges of around USD 61.6 billion.
The UK major posted a USD 1.3 billion loss for Q2 2016, more than double the negative result seen the previous quarter, as refining margins fell to their weakest point for any second quarter since 2010.
