The “golden age of gas” as the cleaner, transitional fuel may not materialise as hoped, Chatham House said in a report on the likely impacts of the COP 21 climate change negotiations on the oil and gas industries.
“Structural changes to the power sector are increasing uncertainties for long-term investment, especially in the infrastructure for gas trade,” the report said.
