The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has agreed to lend Bangladesh USD 167 million to expand its transmission infrastructure and improve production at the Titas gas field near capital city Dhaka.
The South Asian state plans to boost gas output by installing seven wellhead compressors and build some 180 km of transmission lines between the southeast coastal city of Chittagong and Bakhrabad on the east Bangladeshi border with India.
