Lloyds Energy Group has requested permission to export from its proposed Point Comfort LNG floating liquefaction project off the coast of Texas to countries that hold a freetrade agreement (FTA) with the US.
Established in 2013, the company hopes to export from the US Gulf of Mexico. Lloyds is looking to launch a LNG-based project comprising two 4.5 mtpa floating LNG (FLNG) vessels, with additional onshore facilities.
