Days after taking office, new US president Donald Trump has signed orders to support completion of two major energy infrastructure projects and called for all future pipeline projects in the country to be built with domestically-produced equipment.
The executive orders put two oil pipelines – TransCanada’s Keystone XL line from Canada to the US Gulf and Energy Transfer Partners’ Dakota Access Pipeline in the northern US – back on the table.
