Gas, LNG and oil prices – at least for now – appear to be resting around what the wider curve suggests could be a 'new normal', a vision which includes energy getting cheaper in the coming years rather than more expensive.
All have risen sharply since this time last year and now appear to be stabilising. The exception is coal, which rose from a low point early last year, but could fall in price much more strongly than other energy commodities in the coming months and continue to challenge gas.
