Malaysian oil and gas company Petronas has struck a mini-deal to supply Japanese utility Hokkaido Electric Power Company (HKE) with a modest 130,000 tonnes of LNG per annum for the next ten years.
“The partnership with HKE demonstrates our commitment to providing long-term LNG solutions to its customers,” chairman of Petronas’s subsidiary Malaysia LNG (MLNG) Datuk Mohd Anuar Taib said in a statement on Thursday.
