The European Commission has struck a tentative deal with Gazprom following a long-running anti-trust investigation into alleged monopoly practices by the Russian gas giant in central and eastern European gas markets.
Brussels is seeking feedback on concessions intended to address what it calls Gazprom’s “abuse of dominance” in Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary and Bulgaria.
