Canada’s National Energy Board (NEB) has extended the export licence for Woodfibre LNG, the developer of a proposed 2.1 mtpa LNG plant in British Columbia, to 40 years.
The board approved the 15-year extension after deeming the quantity of LNG to be exported from the project “surplus to Canadian needs”.
