UK-based Independent Oil & Gas (IOG) is buying the recently decommissioned Thames Gas Pipeline in the southern North Sea from Perenco, Tullow Oil and Centrica Resources.
IOG will pay a “nominal consideration” for the 24-inch pipeline that paves the way to export up to 300 MMcf/day from upstream assets via the Blythe and Vulcan Satellite hubs to the Bacton gas terminal – giving it control from field to market.
