BP has signed an agreement with Indonesian state-owned utility Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) for the delivery of 16 LNG cargoes over 15 years starting in 2020, Indonesia’s oil and gas regulator SKK Migas said in a statement on Wednesday.
The British-based major will supply the cargoes from its 7.6 mtpa Tangguh liquefaction plant in the Indonesian province of Papua Barat. A multi-destination clause allows PLN to use the gas in various power plants across the country.
