The Cypriot government on Thursday approved a new proposal by the Natural Gas Public Company (Defa) and the ministry of energy for the import of LNG.
The plan calls for two contracts to be tendered: one for the installation of a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) and another for the supply of LNG to the island’s main power station at Vassilikos.
