Indonesia’s state-run energy company Pertamina has signed its first long-term LNG supply deal with an Australian company after agreeing an initial 15-year contract with Woodside, starting in 2019.
The signing of the sales and purchase agreement (SPA) comes just over a year after the pair signed a heads of agreement (HoA) for such a contract. The final agreement envisages Woodside ramping up LNG supplies Indonesia to approximately 0.6 mtpa from 2022 to 2034.
