KOGAS, the world’s second largest LNG buyer, has struck a trio of deals to look at participating in three US liquefaction projects, as South Korea shifts its power sector away from nuclear and coal generation.
The state-owned company signed memoranda of understanding with Sempra Energy, AGDC and Energy Transfer during South Korean President Moon Jae-in’s state visit to the US this week.
