Canada’s National Energy Board (NEB) has highlighted uncertainty over the country’s LNG export ambitions, citing global “lower prices and fierce competition” preventing projects from making swifter headway.
The NEB set out its concerns in its latest report entitled “Canada’s role in the global LNG market”, which flags up the fact that only one of the 24 proposed LNG projects in the country has taken a final investment decision (FID).
