London-based Hansa Hydrocarbons has made a gas discovery in the Dutch portion of the North Sea following drilling on its GEms licences. The gas is likely to be consumed in the Netherlands, where the country’s main source of gas from the Groningen field has been successively cut in a bid to curtail production-related tremors.
