US President Donald Trump’s strong support for fossil fuels did not produce the results he had promised, especially for large-scale oil and gas pipelines. Delays on the Dakota Access and Keystone XL oil pipelines - and the cancellation of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP) shows how effective opponents have become.
