Eurogas is the Brussels-based association that represents gaseous energy in Europe and has over 100 members. Its members include gas majors such as Shell, TotalEnergies and Eni, but also smaller companies and firms across the whole value chain. Andreas Guth was appointed Eurogas’ secretary general in August this year, succeeding James Watson. Guth was previously the policy director at Eurogas. Gas Matters caught up with him in Brussels to discuss the latest concerning EU energy policy and the outlook for the gas sector in Europe.
