Methane

A colourless, odourless flammable gas, lighter than air under normal conditions (CH4, often abbreviated to C1 in non technical usage). Methane is the first member in the alkane (paraffin) series and is the chief constituent of Natural Gas. At atmospheric pressure, it liquefies at -162ºC.
