Global gas demand could grow at an average annual rate of 1.1% over the next 24 years if the right policies were introduced, the International Energy Agency (IEA) said on Monday.
In its energy and air pollution report published on Monday, the IEA's ‘clean air scenario’ forecasted that with the implementation of appropriate policies, global gas demand could grow 35% from 111 Tcf in 2013 to 150 Tcf by 2040.
