Shell’s Quest carbon capture and storage (CCS) project at in Alberta, Canada has rounded 1 million tonnes of CO2 harnessed from oil sands production less than a year after the project was launched.
Quest – the world’s first commercial scale CCS project – came online in November 2015 with the aim of capturing 1 mtpa of CO2.
