Texas LNG has signed non-binding terms to sell 3.1 mtpa to four state-owned and private buyers in southeast Asia and China from its proposed export project at Brownville port in the Lone Star state.
The parties would also hold the option to increase offtake volumes to 4 mpta over the 20-year contract period. The agreement hints that the plant’s first phase could find itself oversubscribed.
