Norway’s BW Offshore has bought a 56% stake in the Kudu gas field offshore Namibia, a large but challenging reserve that could transform the energy landscape of southern Africa.
Local subsidiary BW Kudu signed a farm-in agreement with Namibia’s state-owned energy company National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (NAMCOR), which will retain the remaining 44%.
