Poland’s state-owned energy company PGNiG has called for construction of a 10 Bcm/year pipeline to run Norwegian gas to Poland via Denmark, claiming the route will be needed by 2022 to ensure diversity of supply.
In its mission to construct the pipeline, the Polish oil and gas company and pipeline operators in Denmark have submitted a request in the first phase of the reservation procedure for gas transmission capacity.
