Canadian power generator TransAlta has signed an agreement with infrastructure outfit Tidewater Midstream to build a natural gas pipeline in Alberta that will accelerate the transition of the country’s largest coal plants to run on gas.
The pair will work towards developing a 120-km pipe from Tidewater’s Brazeau River gas processing facility to TransAlta’s Sundance and Keephills coal stations in Wabamun, central Alberta. The USD 150 million pipeline is supported by ...
